This Drama is all about Eye Candy. Eye candy is a six member underground rock band consist of Byung-Hee the first leader (Lee Min-Ki), Kwon Ji-Hyuk the leader and vocal (Sung Joon), Lee Hyun-Soo the guitarist and face of the band(L (Kim Myung-Soo)), Jang Do-Il the drummer (Lee Hyun-Jae), Kim Ha-Jin the bassist (Yoo Min-Kyu) and Seo Kyung-Jong the keyboardist (Kim Min-Suk).
All of The band members don't have much
interest in studying. They all attend Dong-Nae High School But then after their
school collapse; they transfer into the prestigious Jungsang High School, and found
their rival, Strawberry Fields.
Byung-Hee keeps proposing that they
all should drop out from the school, but all of the others eye candy members
thought his comment as a joke. So Byung-Hee had to find his muse, the one that
will inspire him to make great music and he found Im Soo-Ah (Jo Bo-Ah) a student
at Jung-Sang High School. She is a longtime friend of Yoo Seung-Hoon (Jung Eui-Chul),
fellow classmate and leader of the band "Strawberry Fields.".
Eye candy made a lot of trouble in
their new school. Until One day, Byung
Hee died by traffic accident after he fought with one of strawberry fields
member Jung Ma-Ro.
After byung Hee died,
the entire member really had beaten that time, especially Ji Hyuk. After that they determine to go back on the
stage for Byung Hee sake with last Byung Hee composes song Jay Walking before
he died.
On the D-day the perform Hyun Soo was
late because of a traffic accident, his hand was hurt because of that accident.
Then He met Ye rim (Kim
Ye-Rim) who accidentally hit him by her van while crossing the street (not
really her i mean, her driver does).
In the middle of Eye Candy performance, Ji
Hyuk stopped Hyun Soo while he’s in the middle of his solo guitar performance because
Ji Hyuk notices Hyun Soo hand bleeding.
The winner is Strawberry Fields. The
crowd cheers happily, though Seung-hoon doesn’t really excited, Su-ah (byung hee
muse) smiles and cheers on strawberry fields’ victory, but immediately starts
looking around for Ji-hyuk.
Eye candy once again on the lowest
point of their life, until one day their
performance on that contest catch people attention more than strawberry fields
but The producer want to scout Ji-Hyuk and Hyun Soo only. Ji hyuk exactly
reject that contract a tear it into a pieces.
After they debuted, they still have a
lot of trouble. Do Il with his father, Ji Hyuk caught when he met with Su Ah in
the middle of the night and make some“misunderstanding”, and lastly Ha jin caught in a fight there is a lot of bad rumors about them So
Hyun Soo decide to do solo activities (he refuse it, but after Ji hyuk provoke
him to turn out from Eye candy He does his solo career). So Eye Candy broke up. But after a moment, they can figure it out
what they really want to their life. They find their own way, and cheering and
respect each other decision.
Ji Hyuk still on
his path, and make his own music and Drop out from Jungsang
High School. Hyun Soo still do
his solo career, he’s brighter than before. Ha jin decides to be a great actor
for his future. He debuted as cameo, but then they only see his back appearing
on that scene (That’s really funny, I mean it hahaahah). All of them laugh and tease
him. Kyung Jong want to help his mother
manage their shop, and lastly Do Il found his passion to study, He suggest them
(Ha Jin and Kyung Jong) to study. But all of them refuse it for sure. It sounds
like a happy ending, but not in the fairy tale isn’t it?

The
Best points from this movie are the complicated love story, and their unpredictable
story line. It’s not like something classic, it’s like reality was brought into a drama. The story
line was so unpredictable Up and down, Up and down. It really surprise me, you
never can’t predict what’s next (except you read the synopsis). (*.*)/Especially when Byung hee died, his
personality is so bold (i think he were the main character).
Although basically
i really love the youth and musical Drama genre, so it’s easy for me to fall in
love in this movie. The other good part is this drama has a lot of strong
characters with a deep background (especially Eye Candy personnel).
This movie brought us two love story, first let us count Byung Hee likes Su Ah He call her, his muse. On the other side there’s Ji hyuk he,emh i don’t know why he always involve with Su Ah from the first time he met her (Fate?!). Ji Hyuk couldn’t tell the other members about them because she is Byung Hee’s muse.
My
favorite part is Hyun Soo and Ye rim Couple, they look so cute together (Envy
her). At the first time Ye rim showed
her interest for him, she confess to him too (So Bold). But Hyun Soo refuses
her for Ha Jin’s sake.
Even Ha Jin was a player, he really deeply fall in love
with Ye Rim at that time (is it karma?). But Somehow they end up together, Even
Hyun Soo pretend udidn’t care about her because of his pride. In the end He admits
it.
